The 2012 Military Tattoo will pay tribute to HM Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee together with the year of Creative Scotland, a celebration to mark 60 years of the Queen's reign and Scottish creativity and culture, in the round. With music, colour and spectacle from home and abroad, set against the incomparable backcloth of Edinburgh Castle, featuring the Massed Pipes and Drums, Military Bands, display teams and dancers from the four corners of the earth - and of course the poignant notes of the Lone Piper high on the Castle ramparts.
