Itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday
Chester & Llandudno
We depart Manchester at 8:30 am. We will enjoy a tour of the Roman walled town of Chester before continuing to Llandudno, an elegant Victorian seaside town. A funicular railway will take us to see the splendid views of the Snowdonia National Park. Our last stop today is the walled city of Conwy.

Day 2 - Sunday
Snowdonia & Woollen Mill
Today we explore the heart of Snowdonia with the highest peaks in England and Wales, hidden valleys and waterfalls which is claimed to be home to the real King Arthur. Our day will also include either a visit to a slate or copper mine, a steam train journey and a visit to a woollen mill before traveling to the towns of Harlech and the Llewyn Peninsular.

Day 3 - Monday
Caernarfon & Angelsey
After a visit to Caernarfon, we continue across the suspension bridge to spend the day in Angelsey. This ancient and mystic island offers a wealth of attractions including prehistoric burial chambers, Celtic and Viking settlements, a 12th Century Norman castle, even a 900 year old pub.

Day 4 - Tuesday
Llangollen
This morning we visit Bodnant Gardens "one of the most beautiful in the UK" spanning 80 acres. We continue in the afternoon to Llangollen for a horse drawn boat trip or a motorized cruise, an unforgettable way to end your visit to north Wales before embarking on a train journey to South Wales, your home for the next four nights.

Day 5 - Wednesday
Chepstow & Tintern Abbey
Sightseeing today will take you through a quaint Welsh village on your way to the ancient town of Chepstow with its 13th Century Castle, Crystal outlet and spectacular views of the countryside. Our next stop is Tintern Abbey inspiration for one of William Wordswoth's poems, then on to see the Roman City of Carwent where the history of King Arthur and his Knights can be found.

Day 6 - Thursday
Cardiff
A tour of the Welsh capital Cardiff will start the day visiting the superb Cathedral of Llandaff. The afternoon will begin with a visit to the St Fagans - the Museum of Welsh Life, a fascinating collection of authentic buildings depicting hundreds of years of Welsh life. Our day will end with a tour of the vales of Glamorgan with its rugged coastline.

Day 7 - Friday
Brecon
Today we will learn about coal mining in wales by visiting a mining valley made famous in the novel "How Green Was My Valley". We will travel to the rim of a coal-seem to view a surviving mine. A drive through the Brecon Beacon to view the spectacular rugged scenery on our way to the market town of Brecon for lunch and a chance to explore.

Day 8 - Saturday
Tour Ends
Today we travel back to London. On our way we will visit the ancient standing stones of Avebury and visit the small Roman village of Carleon with its 2000 year old history. Our tour ends this afternoon in London.
